    Elite TI2 or HDS

I am looking to purchase a unit for the front of the boat and currently have a Elite7 HDI unit.
If I am going to upgrade I am looking at installing the 3in1 transducer on the trolling motor
do I can have 2D, down scan and side scan. The two units I am interested in is the Elite TI2 in
a 9 inch or a HDS Live in a 7 inch. The HDS has a 50% higher pixel count and will support
live if I ever decided on that, not now anyway. The HDS is $150 more, not a show stopper.
A 9 inch HDS is significantly more.

Is the smaller screen worth the resolution increase?
Are there other features on the HDS more useful than the TI2?
Any other factors to look at?

    Opinions/comments appreciated.

    Thanks

I may be wrong but I believe the HDS has a quicker processor. It might just be the 9" inch and up though.

I would tell you to look at carbon units. Much cheaper with the high resolution screens you want. They can run the AI transducers as well. But as big as you can afford. If you decide on the live sight they can view that with an expansion module.

bit out of the range you looking at, but for this much, I would seriously think about it.
