I have a RRA varmit upper. Heavy 24" barrel. I have been unimpressed with the accuracy with bulk ammunition but I need to see what it does with handloads now that I have access to a range. However it seems to be made pretty well but then again most ARs are pretty much a commodity these days.

They make good stuff. My department owns over 40 of them in 5.56 and we've not had an issue with any. They are accurate and well built. They used to lap all of their barrels at the factory too, not sure if they still do.

Had a lefty Rock River Operator in 5.56 for a while. Was a great shooter, but heavy. Probably would still have it if RR used standard mil-spec parts in their left hand variants.

Not a single comment with experience with a .308 model. We all know their ar15's are gtg, that doesn't necessarily mean the same for the .308. Every manufacturer seems to run their own design, hit and miss on results.

I ended up buying it the rifle...haven't had a chance to shoot it yet...I'm a newbie to these guns...you give me most anything else and I'm fine...gonna have to order a manual for this thing though...I'm sure I can figure it out just as far as shooting it...but to fully understand everything about it...I need the manual...like a new car..

I have a RR coyote. It’s the best of all of my ARs. It’s accurate and relatable. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy another.

Great quality company. Wouldn't hesitate to buy any gun they make. Own a Predator Pursuit .223 that is super accurate.

I can hit steel plates out to 200 yards with my RR dedicated 9mm carbine. They are a good home defense weapon too. RR is owned by Springfield Armory in case you didn't know.

Nothing wrong with Rock River. For 7.62, look at LWRC.

Youtube can answer all your questions. There's tons of ground up build videos on there as well as field stripping and cleaning.

Something I read awhile back in a thread about Springfield caving to the anti's on another gun forum.
