Permatex anti-seize - have used it on ALL lugs nuts for years.. Trailers, truck, tractors...

Never had an issue or a seized lug nut...

Dab of anti seize threads only (less is more). Closed chrome automotive lug nuts , never an issue when removing.

    No anti-size.

Wet and dry torque specs are two different things. Lug nut torque is specced as a dry torque. Adding lubricant and torquing to the dry spec will stretch your threads beyond what they are designed for.
If your lug nuts are seized, one of these is the most likely scenario...
1: You are not having your tires rotated often enough.
2: The nuts were crossthreaded or "zipped" down on dirty threads. (Most common cause)
3: You don't put enough miles on your trailer to need service. Clearly you need to fish more! ;)
