    Need help with Live scope install

    I just purchased a live scope system and a GPS MAP 1042 to install on the front of my boat. I wont be using the 1042 for nothing but Live scope. My question is when hooking my hot wire up does the 1042 get power from the Live scope system or do i need to power it also on a separate hot than the Live scope system? Happy Thanks giving!

    Yes, the 1042 power cable must also be wired to power.

    They do need to clarify this more in the directions, I have had a lot of questions about this.

    Both units require power. The same 10GA lead can be used to power both units.
