    Go-Jaks

Checking to see if anyone is using Go-Jaks to move there boats around - I have a 921, tandem axle trailer and checking to see if I can get by with just 2 of the Go-Jaks or do I need to get 4. Thanks

I kicked this around two years ago and got a trailer valet instead. Love it! I got a 20trx in a 21x19 garage. Will put my new 20 pro xp in there when it arrives this spring.

Depends on what you want to do with them. If you're just using them to grab the tongue and turn it, 2 will work fine. If you need to push is over into a garage corner or something, you'll need 4

I've been using them for years!! Couldn't put my boat where its at without them. I have to make a 90 degree angle around a pole in my warehouse. And no extra wiggle room to do it. ONe set of go-jacks under the front axle wheels and its a breeze. If I had a garage and wanted to be more precise on getting it angled or something I'd use 4. I have a new set in the box yet for when the day comes that I retire and move into a home with a normal garage so I can get it tucked away the I want it.

So I picked up 4 Go Jaks locally from a classified ad, ($220 total), 2 required a good cleaning and some lube and are good to go, the other 2 are in need of new casters - any recommendations or just go with the OEM casters. Average price is $30 per caster (needing 8). just looking to save some additional money if possible if anybody has a recommended solution. Thanks

I got 4 from Trailer Valet on Amazon. They were cheaper than Harbor Freight. Very nice quality and moves the boats around the shop with ease.

rakkc. if you have a Harbor Freight or Tractor Supply near you take the caster there and match them up. A caster is a caster...or McMaster Carr ecen

One piece of advice though.......Do not leave the jacs pumped up and stored that way. They may damage the cords on the tires.

Thanks, I looked at McMaster Carr and did not see any that would fit the requirement. Looked at Home Depot and will give tractor supply a peek tomorrow.

well then that tells me the ones from harbor freight are not good. Are you saying you bought 4 jacks from harbor or 4 castor wheels?

I used 4 under my tandem trailer and I could move it any which way I wanted but mine are the real go-jacs
