    Keel shield?

    Just bought a new to me 2005 stratos 201 proxl. Im gonna buy the gator guard keel shield and was wondering what size you guys used. i was thing going with the 7footer but didnt know if i should do that or the 8. Thanks

    I went with 8’. A lot of rocks around here, if I was running sand all the time it might be different.

    I prefer the Hambys but they all work. I would trim an arc on each end so it would appear more pleasing to the eye after installation.

    Prep it and seal the edges of the shield as directed. The folks at Gator Guard are great to work with....8 foot is recommended, and black is one of the best colors in terms of fading. Mine still looks great, and was fairly easy to install.
