What a shame that boat has to sit inside all winter waiting for spring. I'd make a trip south to break it in. Nice rig.

Michael, I built the step box just for the step. I out a hinge on it and can use it for storage. There is really nothing to it. I got some left over ranger
carpet from a guy in the restoration forum here. If you want, I can text you pictures and size. I did not bolt it down yet because I want to attach my
fire extinguisher to the drivers side and wanted to make sure I had room. PM me if you do.

When I lived in PA I once bought a slightly used boat in December from a guy in Missouri and after towing it home that was the longest winter of my life. I practically slept in that boat while waiting for ice out.!! Enjoy the boat next spring.

Lakes in NJ are still ice free unfortunately most are electric only.

You can always hit the Delaware river. Might even see Ike.

I fished many lakes in NJ. I like Manasquan Reservoir very much and my buddy lives 5 min from there. Lakes here are still ice free but not for much longer. The new boat
will stay nice and comfy in its garage until spring. I am still working on it little by little. I do fish the rivers with buddies who have jet boats. LOVE THOSE SMALLIES :)

I'm in the same New boat situation. Put mine in for about 30min
cking graphs an TM., then loaded out. Between colds and cold weather
I decided to just look at it in the garage until spring.
When I was younger and just had to fish, if the air temp was 40, I fished.

Congratulations on the new rig. You are going to love fishing outta that rig. Picked mine up in April. Identical rig as yours but I got the dual console for extra storage. Word of caution for you, when you finally get it out on the water pay close attention to the bottom of the hull. Had the paint flaking off mine after the real first trip out. Also don't know if you lettered it yet if not I got a recommendation for you on lettering

Thanks, I will definitely check the bottom for flaking paint the first few times out. As for letters, I have someone who can make me custom letters in font and colors to match mine. BUT, I will listen to your recommendation as it is not a definite yet with them and I just got my registration from Fish and Game. You ever fish "The Pack??

Got mine from Darryl at iguana graphix?..highly recommend him ....lettering matches perfect font and color and fits perfect inside the stripe..... Would post a pic but my rig is on its way to Ranger to have the bottom paint fixed. Never been to the " pack" but I definitely want to hit it a couple times this year
