Prop question on my 2001 TR186

This is my AZ boat. When I bought it had a 23 pitch aluminum 4 blade prop on it. It runs a decent speed and an excellent hole shot. Since I have a spare 23 pitch 4 blade SS do you think it will work as well.

Yes, it should work well with your set up. It might be even better because SS props don't flex like the aluminum props.

Best one for this setup is a SS 23 pitch tempest plus. The 4 blade SS you have should work too, is it a trophy plus?

My last boat was a 06 TR186. I absolutely loved that boat. I had a tempest plus 23 pitch - all holes plugged. It had great hole shot and ran 59.7 MPH, with zero chine. If I remember right I was 3” PTP.

Yes it is. Since it is a spare prop I have I will try it and see it not better maybe I’ll trade it this winter when I’m in AZ. I would also like to find a 6” plate for this boat.
