Puma FTD/250 SHO...WHAT PROP?

Anyone have experience on what prop to run on a Puma FTD with a Yamaha 250 SHO? I’m more interested in decent holeshot with a tournament load than getting the most speed....

We would stay 25 T2 on the propeller and no vent holes. That’s what the factory installs on most, and of course your load and set up can change that number or preference.

Mine came with, and has, a 26 T1.
No vent holes.
Hole shoe is good for me and will run and easy 75 with close to 80 possible.
I don't have power poles.

I have a 25 T2 as well, hole shot is a little better, but looses a bit on top speed.

I’m running a 27 tempest to 6000 rpms by myself . A 25 you will be over the limiter if you can push it to its max .

I run a Puma/SHO with 25 T2 as BCB suggests above. It's a rocket out of the hole and I've topped out at 77 with no poles and med load of gear and fuel. It's the quickest boat out of the hole I've ever owned.

Have the 25 T2 on my 17 Cougar / 250 SHO with poles, 4 batteries, etc and it performs great.
