    Smoking Turkey

Been a while since I've done it. Planning to Splatchcock it which will be a first for me. What temp and roughly how much time per pound do you plan on?

I smoke them at 300 and use a temp probe. Around 3 hour cook time.

Thanks for the help, saw some recipes calling for cooking it hot and fast like 450 degrees for 45 minutes or an hour and others cooking at 200-225 for about 4+ hours depending on the size of the bird.

I did one on the egg Sunday. 325* indirect and it took about 3 hours to get to temp. Came put perfect.
