    '06 mercury 25hp efi ECM question

    Serial# OR158706
    2006 mercury 25hp efi

    I just purchased a new ECM (#803560708) and I was concerned about the installation. Are these a plug in and ready to go or do they need programmed before operation. I don't want to take a chance of destroying the motor or computer without doing the research first. I can't seem to find any info on the topic. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Simple plug in installation.

    Recommend disconnecting the battery (POSITIVE) terminal prior to installing.
