Smartcraft not reading trim nor psi

    Hi,

Last year I bought a 115 4 stroke Mercury engine (Sea Pro model) which came with the Smartcraft digital gauge.

I cant make it read the trim position,it is always on 0.0. I did the calibration procedure many times and still the same.

I also cant read the water psi, it is on 0 psi but the engine and temperature is OK.

    Any advice?

What I can read is: oil pressure, engine temp, volts, hour, rpms.

The harness I use is the 84-896537A20R

    1. Engine Serial Number: 2B563461
    2. Year/Make/Model: 2018/ Mercury / 1116F6T1D
    3. Prop you are Running: 14.2 x 18P RH SS
    4. Current Maximum RPM N/A
    5. Idle and WOT Water Pressure Readings 0 psi
    6. Smartcraft or Analog Instruments? Smartcraft Tachometer, analog fuel gauge.

Does your motor have digital trim and water psi senders on it? Not sure on the trim but that engine is not equipped with a digital water psi sender.

Not sure about that, I give it for sure that being a new model that came with the smartcraft, it will have all the senders.

Is there any way I can confirm that?
Which is the P/N of the senders?

I was just holding it in my hand 2 weekends ago id have to look it up now. I had to get the water pressure sender for my new 200 pro xs. They do not come factory with them. Did you order the boat with smartcraft gauges or installed later?

I have a 75 (same displacement as the 115) and had to add a wp sender and swap to a digital trim.

I can't tell from picture but if 2 wires in harness it's analog, digital has 3 wires. Seem to recall one is round and the other square, don't remember which is which but think digital is square. From what I've read here, water pressure senders are optional so you'd need to add one to see water pressure.

Part numbers printed on tags or parts are NOT the actual Part Number (they are internal Production Numbers used by Mercury).

This engine has an ANALOG trim sender, and does not come with a Digital Water Pressure Sensor.

    You need:

-Digital Block (Water) Pressure Sensor - 8M0089111

-Analog to Digital Converter (and limit) Module for Trim- 8M0118725

Not really- engine is already wired for the Digital Block (Water) Pressure Sensor, and the A-2-D Converter comes with instructions.
