Wow! Rick and the BassCat company make it tough!

There is a thread on the Phoenix page regarding going from a cat to a Phoenix. I made a post regarding that I had an 08 puma and now in a 2018 bird but there is no better company than basscat. I’ll be damned if today I did not get a very nice handwritten letter from Rick, whom I have met couple of times, thanking me for my comments. Now I feel guilty leaving but pretty sure I will be back. Very happy with my Phoenix but not the quality of a cat (please Rick don’t send another letter!) Awesome company!

I have always told people, "You can leave Bass Cat but BCB will never leave you."

Great info here and I'd like to think about this perspective. BassCat is a great company, has a top notch product, and absolutely the best customer service that no one can touch. Rick Pierce is phenomenal in his vision, knowledge, passion, execution, product, manufacturing abilities and customer relationships !!!! There is no other 'complete package' out there like what Ricks BassCat organization offers. It is also to be mentioned that we the customers feel so happy, proud, enthused, excited when we hear from Rick because we all respect him. Respect is something that no one can 'sell'. It's only earned. And Rick has certainly earned the respect of virtually anyone in the industry. He and his organization is 1st class.....and that's why any bassboat purchases made with my $...will be BassCat only.

im glad there are choice in the boating world for everyone to get what they want and what fits their needs.

but I will say this Rick has done more for me than any other boat builder/owner or anything you want to call Rick.
have met him multiple times he is a pleasure to talk to and one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. just a guy doing what he loves and I sure how he continues to do it for many many years to come.
got to take a spin with Rick driving in the Eyra with the 300R on it a few months ago and will have to say is one of the best boat drivers I have ever been in a boat with. and while driving that rocket he had a smile on his face from ear to ear was a really cool time.
    Heres to ya Rick

That kind of thing is so uncommon these days. One of the many reasons so many people speak so highly of him and the company. That's one of the reasons one day I will try a Bass Cat.

And this thread is one of the reasons why I'm wanting a cat, wish there was a floor plan on a hull I like based on hp and width. Aka a Caracal deck on a lynx hull.

Would love to have a basscat. Just can’t afford one. Maybe when the kids grow up

I met Rick in the mid 90's fishing the BASS Invitationals, still tell stories about what an impressive and humble guy he was/is. I've been a Ranger owner for 28 years but will buy a Cat at some point, primarily because of Rick.

Exactly why I came back to BassCat from Phoenix this year. Phoenix was nice, but not a BassCat, and I will leave it at that.

I met Rick and Ron as a kid as my dad only fished out of a Bass Cat. My dad and I wrecked a 93 PII by hitting a big floater in choppy water. The hull had a few cracks in the bottom, the 200 EFI Mariner was sheared off on the mid section. The Pierce family went out of their way to get the boat back up and running and I think even they were amazed at how well the boat held up. Even though I don't have a new one anymore BCB still treats me like I just bought a Jag with a 450. It doesn't matter that I have a 2000 Pantera Classic. On my 4th Cat
Currently boatless but will always drive a Bass Cat
