Just a heads up for anyone having a water pump done or replaced.

If you are having your water pump replaced make sure they do the whole kit and just not replace the impella. I had a guy replace mine in October and ever since then had been getting an on and off overtempt alarm. I thought he had done the whole kit till I looked on the slip and saw impella only. Checked my thermostats and sensors and finally decided to drop the lower and check the water pump myself. Well he just replaced the impella and didn't use new orings when he did it. The stainless plates were not in bad shape but the big oring inside the housing was broken and the one that goes around the driveshaft was crushed and the one on the shift shaft was not replaced either and the one that leads up to the water pickup tube was also crushed. Glad I finally listened to Fred and did it thanks again

Exactly! When it's apart, you replace it all.
