    Finally got out on Friday and ran the boat. 55 on the gps but it sure is different driving a real bass boat not like the old 78 astroglass I had before. I need to find a bigger lake to try and see what my numbers really are. I didn't get it trimmed out right I think because the rpms were only around 51-5200 but I was still happy that it ran great. Now I thought I was moving pretty good at 55 but 80 that's crazy.

    i had a 85 hydra sport 475vl w/gt150, that boat was fast out of the hole but 55mph is about all i could get out of it. i'm sure a jack plate would help both the ride and the top end.

    I went to bellville lake with 21XDC Mike Lohn and with his 27 pitch turbo txp-ot4 I ran 80.5 on the hard limiter , so I had to let off , I think with a 28 she will stretch out even more...

    not that anyone has ever gotten a ticket that i know of, or that i care just an fyi the speed limit is 55mph on all inland michigan waters.

    FYI.... We were on a 40 mph lake... and I was going 44mph over..
