    Couple of images from yesterday

    Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N

Was developing a pattern with the dropping water temps so I scanned a section of standing pine trees to see what level the fish were relating to:

    None so far:

    Just a few feet farther:

I see 1 fish at the 10’ mark in the first shot! I think... we’re those baitfish in the 2nd shot? Great images.

I dropped a tandem crappie jig rig to the school and the tree gods ate it. Pine trees are tough to fish no matter what the presentation is. I assume they were shad.

Yes I think that is a bass in the first screen shot, saw several around that depth and a little shallower during the day but they were not interested in eating. Had to find them on structure breaks to be catchable (creek channel edges and points).

Wayne, those are excellent screen shots. Could you please tell me what settings you used for chart speed, sensitivity, contrast, sharpness, dynamic contrast ON or OFF, and water column sensitivity? Thanks.

    1. Chart Speed---4
    2. Sensitivity ???? I change that according to the way the image looks, don't pay any attention to the number, don't even see a number. I use the -+ buttons for adjustment
    3. Contrast--default
    4. Sharpness---off
    5. Dynamic Contrast---off
    6. Water Column Sensitivity---off
