    Jackplate set-back for 2016 Stratos 201XL Evolution?

    Hey Guys,

I just got into a new to me boat. I got a 2016 20XL Evolution, with a 250 ProXS. I'm looking to install a hydraulic jackplate, and was wondering what everyone thinks for best overall performance, (speed/handling)? To narrow it down I'm looking at Bob's and maybe an 8" set back? I'm unsure of what would be best. Thanks guys!

I'm not sure what it has on there now. I'm guessing just a 6' manual. I may just go with a 6" hydraulic. I'm not sure what is best kind of was hoping someone has one set up right haha. I took it out for first time this past weekend. She runs good but needs to be dialed in a little better. Overall happy with it!

I had a six inch fixed and went to a eight inch Atlas. Makes it easier to find that combination of holeshot and topend!

Thanks for the replies! Sounds like 8" Bob's is going to be what I need.

8" Bob's on my 201 Pro XL and I don't think it could be dialed in any better.

8 inch bobs would be good I run a bobs 10 and it isn’t an evo hull but the setback made it handle like a dream. Huge improvement over 6 inch.
