I think mine is around 70#. With the stow and lift assist pistons I can use two fingers to stow or deploy. Once it gets over the breakover point, I just let go. Either way.

It’s about the same as the ultrex. The ghost is a few lbs lighter, 6 if I remember correctly. Good video on Russel Marine Products YouTube channel, the Force has some power to it.

In link below, look at the video at the 1:00 mark, they weight both TM's.

Surprising is the Garmin has 30 lbs less thrust than the Lowrance (70 vs 100) both at 36V. So there goes the "brushless is better" theory.

The Garmin & Lowrance are both brushless. Which video are you referring too? The one I saw said the Garmin had more thrust than the Lowrance. I believe you have your sentence above backwards.

You are correct. I viewed again and the Garmin had 30 lbs more than the lowrance.

If I remember correctly, you’re an engineer. What could the difference be, prop design maybe? More rake on the ghost and bigger blades on the force??? 30lbs seems like a sizable difference, but yet the speeds don’t show that, confuses me.

I would say prop design also. Too flexible would exhibit those kind of results. Bob

In other words, the performance moving in clean water would be a more accurate representation of its design capability. Re the speed test.
