Question Can a Foretrex be put in an Ultrex mount?

I'm looking to have a spare trolling motor to take with me when I go on these longer trips for several days. A broken trolling motor can quickly ruin a good trip as we all know. So, I have 36 volt Ultrex and I'm hoping I can find a reasonably priced Fortrex as a spare but before I do that I want to be sure it will be able to fit in the Ultrex mount. Please help.

Yes, but an Ultrex will not go in a Fortrex mount.

A Maxxum will work too with the Fortrex Bracket installed. I have one in the bed of my truck that has been there for 2.5 years just in case I need a spare for my Ultrex. A Maxxum 101 Pro should be less expensive including the Fortrex bracket you would need. Just an option in case you come across a good deal on a Maxxum.

Perfect I’ll be keeping the fortrex after upgrading to an Ultrex for this exact reason. Plus they haven’t held their value with the Ultrex out. See them all day on the west for 300-400
