    Screen jumping around

Got a Helix mega si. I run it on depth finder on left side of screen, gps right side most of time . The GPS screen has started to jump around like chubby checker doing the twist. Any ideas?

At what boat speeds, are you seeing the problem? May be Zoom Level or Vessel Offset and Offset Speed settings related.

May be due to satellite maintenance, some interference in the area, or some satellites being tracked getting blocked by parts of the boat or surrounding terrain.

I see that occasionally with a zig zag track being drawn and then I check the GPS Diagnostic view to see what is going on.

My GPS antenna mounted on the starboard transom corner will cause my map to jump around all crazy-like above a certain engine RPM, presumably from magnetic fields generated by the tachometer and/or charging wiring from the outboard.

If you have the unit set to Course up, switch it to Heading up instead. It will work much better.
