I now have a HDS12 Gen3 , 3 D in my puma ftd 2014 . It is flushed mounted. Is the hole too big for a HDS12 live? Will I need a panel mount over to cover hole then attach a gimble mount?

Bass boat technologies has your mount. I replaced a hds 10 flush mount with a carbon 12. Love it. Good luck JD

No it is not to big but the HDS 12 Live will not fit in the dash flush. You will have no choice but to cover the hole and mount it on a BBT style mount. Most like them but I could not stand mine. Cover to much of my vision while driving for me to be comfortable. I have a new Eyra on order and down graded to the Elite Ti 12 because it will mount flush.
