After cooked I really can't tell the difference.....I usually fry 3-5 turkeys a year...so I get 'em frozen early for a discount and put them in my freezer until I need to pull them out....

We buy both...fresh we eat soon. Frozen we eat later. Like said above we cant tell the difference. We do the same for veggies. But definitely there is a difference with veggies.

Fresh. Bought one last year and it was much better in our opinion.

Fresh or frozen if you smoke the turkey breast it will have plenty of flavor.

I don’t care one way or the other. I brine them, rub them down good, and do them spatchcocked on the egg.

We love turkey cooked a million ways. I can't tell the difference between frozen and fresh. Turkey is the perfect meat.

Same here. We had a turkey dinner 3 weekends ago. GF picked up a frozen breast when they were on special and when the weather started to get gloomy she had her son's family over along with my youngest daughter.

As far as buying frozen my only problem is if it's injected with starches or pre basting liquids. Tastes like institutional turkey. Hard to kill the starch flavor.
