Carbon update with a new 3in1 transducer

Ok! I have installed the new 3 in1 transducer & are ready to install the new software. Tansducer cable is ready to connect to the carbon 12.

I have the update loaded on a micro sd card. It shows up as 19.1-62.1.153-standard-1. upd file 152,070kb

Do I have to do anything else??

What about a hard reset?? If so how do I do this??

Save waypoints to your memorycard or the Link-app, do the update and then a hard reset.

Hard Reset HDS units
(deletes stored user data such as waypoints and trails) Back up your files to a SD card first!

--turn unit OFF
--press and hold both the ZIN and ZOUT buttons
--press and release the LIGHT/POWER button
--release all buttons when the USA map appears

I played around a little after the update. Saw how to get to 2d sonar & side & down imaging.

Now, how do I set up a favorite screen to show 2d sonar(with split screen) & down imaging on the other half??

Press Pages. On the right side you can choose setups, scroll down there and you find «empty» setups where you choose whatever you wish to have in your setup.
