Better Lucky Than Good!
Where to purchase new Yamaha 300?
If this is in the wrong forum please delete or move.
A very good friend is looking to repower an Edgewater 247 and I talked him into a 300 Yammy. He had a 250 Etec that blew and scorched 3 cylinders. He sold that off as parts.
Locally he is getting prices around 23k for a new 30” shaft 300.
Since we have members everywhere I thought I would ask where to get the best price on a new 30” Yamaha, potentially with electronic gauges and rigging.
I thought maybe there would be lower lower prices up north because of the off season (winter).
Any guidance is appreciated, Thanks, Chris

My experience is that dealers up north will charge more for a motor.
Central Florida Yamaha is the lowest price dealer that I am aware of. Price below is for the motor only. Too many options to try and guess what rigging and gauges are needed. Kinda like asking for the price of a Ford F150.

The basic price for a 30” 300 down here is 23k. I was hoping that where the lakes have froze over the marinas wouldn’t want to sit on stock all winter. It was a idea that apparently was wrong! Thanks for the answer yam911.

Also try Ole Parker at Parker Yacht in Ft. Lauderdale. He may be willing to deal. I think he keeps them in stock.

Ole sez he has an F300UCA in stock. His price is $21,996.00.
Rigging and installation extra. Depends upon all that need be done.
