Either an actual air gun compressor or home build one out of a refrigerator compressor, it's not too hard a project.

we have a local guy that makes duck decoys at his home - he uses CO2 as his compressor - he's only using airbrushes and small touchup style guns, but we only see him about once a month for refills. He's got a couple 20lb cylinders in rotation.

I keep my compressor on the porch and run a line to my airbrushing area and all I hear is the air from the brush.

Look at the California brand compressors at lowes or on amazon. . I'll never have another noisy compressor. You can still use the TV at normal volume.

California air is awesome. Cost more, but you get what you pay for.

Buy a compressor designed specifically for air brushing. You can usually find a good sale coupon for Hobby Lobby. I use mine inside while watching movies with the wife.

I have compressors made for air brush's and they run constantly.... I'm not a fan of that.

Is this the one you bought?
