So I was crawling around in the center locker in the bow of my boat tonight (I'm running new wires and had to get access to some of the bundles in the bow) and I noticed the foam has a very strange dip in it. Looks like it has a basketball in it, and I can just barely get under it. I'm assuming this would be a problem for rod storage (mine does not have rod tubes in the center locker). I have two questions;
1) Has anyone ever noticed anything like that?
2) If I remove the foam to investigate, what do I replace it with? I should probably call Bullet I bet. Any help would be appreciated.

Does not have a recessed trolling motor foot pedal tray (at least right now it doesn't, I haven't pulled the carpet to look for a repair).
I did a search for "foam" and did not find what I was looking for.
