    A few years ago,about this time of the year on Santee Coopers (Lake Marion),I saw a 6 to 7 lb bass thrashing around & I went over & scooped her up in me net.She had those pink sores all over her,so I took some photos & sent them to head biologist for the lakes.He told me that the sores were from stress.

    The red tides are made worse by all the fertilizer washing out of the sugar cane fields around the Big O flowing through the Everglades and out into the Gulf.
