Bullet performance question 21SS vs 21 XRS

    Hey guys,

I have never owned a Bullet, but have always wanted one. Up to this point I have just drooled over everyone elses. Hopefully, that will change next week.

    I am looking at two, one is a 21SS with a 2017 Racing 250/sportmaster and the second is a 21 XRS with a 250 ProXS/Torquemaster.

How will these to boats compare performance wise?

The ss will be faster ride the deck is little smaller Xrs will be little bit slower but will ride better in big ruff water. I am sure there is more but these are the biggest differences I know of. Good luck and post pictures.

I may be mistaken but I believe the XRS is the slowest of the bullet family. The 21'10" X boats follow. Then the SST and SS. The 20 X boats are the fastest of the modern models. The XRS will still run with if not better than most brands with like power and load. I cannot comment on ride quality between the XRS and SS as I've not driven a SS.

I love my ss (for sale) due to buying a sst it's a 12ss with a 13 250 sport xs. Runs and handles great takes rough water well never been in a xrs so no info on it other than what I've heard stated above. I came out of a 20'xrd I can say I dont see me ever going back to a 20'er but I like the sporty handling of the s models best of both worlds if your interested in looking at my ss call or text me I'll answer any questions the best I can (918)530-2112

XRS has a better layout than a SS , the SST has the better layout , SS smaller and faster than the XRS , I prefer the XRS for the floor space I like having that room to mess with rods.

The 21' 10" X boats are not that slow. A couple around here are 100 mph boats. True they
are running the 300 XS motors but the proformance is there. They will give the ss/sst and most 20'
    all they want.
We have ran a 21 SS-250 XS to 97MPH but that set up is not for everyday running.

My 2016 21RDC with a 300XS has run 93 with 4 batteries, 1/3 tank of gas and a fishing load, not a heavy fishing load but enough, so if I took out batteries and no fishing stuff, I might get close to 100?, if conditions are right

ss/sst is the best compromise of speed and fishing in my eyes. I might be a little biased though.

After having and or fishing out of a 20xd and 21xrd. I bought a SST and very happy with it. I've not had the pleasure of being in a XRS.
