Lake Toho, Whaleys Landing Public Boat Ramp question

Anyone use that ramp and can comment if it's a decent ramp, safe, with parking?

    Thanks, BAM

I've seen it from the water side but have never used it. Not much around that ramp. The ramp due west across the lake (Southport park) is nice and safe.

I've used it and never had a problem with loading/unloading or safety of tow vehicle.

I have used it. It is a small two-lane ramp at the end of a country road. Parking is minimal, but usually sufficient. There was even a small tournament weighing in there when I launched...wasn't too bad. Plus, there is decent fishing down there on that end.

    Wishin' I was fishin'...

Ramp is good. 2 ramp facility with a floating dock between the two ramps. There is a Deputy Sheriff that lives there so there is a deterrent for theft at the parking lot.

The parking can be tight since it is rather small and there are no bathrooms.
