hoping for a good nights sleep

Current mattress is plain worn out....went out yesterday and got a new Purple 2. Going from a queen to a king size with a base which has massage, and lifts feet and head. Gets delivered today, hoping this helps with sleep....

Bought a bed that ought to have come with mags and low profile tires! Didn't help me, but the spouse loves it! Still sleeping on the couch, LOL! Getting old is a biotch.

I've had many expensive mattresses including a Temperpedic. We're sleeping well on a $300 Zinus from Amazon these days. Still doing pretty good for the past 3 years and I can afford to buy a new one every year if it goes tits up. The Temperpedic lasted 3 years, Sealy Postruepedic lasted 2, Simmons I hated from the beginning.

What happened to the others that only lasted 3 years and 2 years?

Must have worked. With no report I assume you're still sleeping.

ha ha....wishful thinking just stuck at work getting the day started.

first night was pretty good, slept well, back pain lowered. Think it will take a few nights to get accustomed to it though, your body gets so used to laying a certain way on a worn mattress switching to a brand new one is an adjustment. Going from a queen to a king makes it more interesting, so much freaking space....

I have a Temperpedic and when we first got it was like I'm never gonna get any sleep on this thing but it has been a good mattress ,wake up with no back pain that I use to have and sleep sound on it. My wife likes it too . My granddaughter loves it for her it's a like a trampoline...lol Best thing I ever did for sleeping was a cpac machine but that's another story

We have a cheap one that was on sale at the local furniture store. Put a 4" memory foam topper on it for $70 and it seems to make a nice guest bed.

If you sleep "hot" you would think differently. Tried it, and had never sweated so much at night. I tend to sleep with no cover, straight under the fan, year round.

Move to Maine. That'll cure you of the sweating-all-night problem
