    4 stroke availability?

Needing to repower a.s.a.p. I have been told 4-6 weeks from a local dealer. Bass pro says 4 weeks to 4 months is more realistic. I was also told buy a different local dealer that my best option for getting a motor sooner rather than later is bass pro shops as they are 50% of Mercury market share? Any insight here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Marlon- I would strongly recommend that you deal directly with the dealer who will actually rig and setup the engine on the boat for you. Some dealers may get engines sooner than others based on WHAT THEY ALREADY HAVE ON ORDER (that's the biggest key, WHEN the order went in).
