Soft Plastic For Ocho/Senko Bait

I have used medium plastic, and generally pour lizards, baby brush hog, and beaver type baits. I have a stick bait/senko mold and have used medium plastic with results that i do not care for. For a ocho/senko type mold should i use a soft or super soft plastic? Would you change from a medium plastic for lizards, baby brush hogs, and beavers and if you would change what plastic would you use??
