Sharing W Points between HDS units ?????

I already have a NEMA 2000 cable from the front to console that i used
on a non HDS unit and it didnt work for WP sharing
Now I have 2 HDS units. Will the NEMA cable work, if not I have
    an Ethernet cable. LDS

You want ethernet as well, that will not only share waypoints but synchronize them.

Can you please expand on what you mean? This will be a future project for me.

Not TC, but what he means is this. Each HDS unit has a Waypoint database. Ethernet provides that the database for unit for is synchronized with other units. So for instance anytime you create or edit a waypoint on a unit, it will populate the database on the other unit(s) whenever the other unit is turned on. Let's say for instance, you have xxx number of waypoints on your console unit and you install a new unit at the bow. Once both units are turned on, the database of the new bow unit will be populated with the waypoints from the console unit.

Bandits answer is offcourse correct (as it usually is).
Ethernet can handle heavier dataloads then NMEA2000. NMEA2000 can transfer single data packages, typically position, depth, pressure etc, like enginedata or position and heading from a Point-1. It is simply not buildt for heavy dataloads, such heavy loads are required for sharing maps, 2D, structurescan and whole databases.

So NMEA2000 can share ONE waypoint at a time, as long as all units are turned on when the waypoint is created. It will not share history though, so if unita A is off when you create a waypoint on unit B, unit A will never get that waypoint (unless you copy it to a memorycard and manually move it to the other unit). With ethernet the waypoints are synchronized whenever a unit is turned on.

In short, the two different types of network both have their uses but your "main" network when using HDS-units is ethernet.

Because I have blocked my account for PMs. Two reasons:
    1. Virtually every PM I have received could just as well be posted in the forum as a regular question. This also makes the Q & A searchable for reference.
    2. I must admit I`m sometimes wrong.... So posting questions in the forum is (usually) better for the person sending me the PM as the answers will have better quality in the forum.

I do the same on all forums I`m on, as long as the plattform supports it.
