    2005 Champion 187 switch?

Can someone tell me what this round thing is on my switch assembly? It’s about 2” in diameter has a pink and a yellow wire coming out of it. Is it a circuit breaker of some sort? I lose power to my motor and and trim but it seems once I squire it I get power. But after a few attempts the other day I had nothing and had to troll my boat into the trailer. I’m trying to post a picture but can’t figure out how to do it.

That is the warning horn, looks like a Yamaha ignition switch. check all plug in connectors, make sure all are clean and tight . Yellow wires are key on 12 volt power.
