Mounting your unit?

Which way do y’all like the best for mounting your unit on front deck? I figured I would like mine raised a little so I don’t know if I should buy a Ram mount or one of these raised brackets. I see all the new boats have these raised brackets . Just wanting y’all’s opinions. For a Helix 8.

Think of the shock loads the bow gets when in waves and wakes. You don't want anything flexable for that application.

There's probably nothing more sickening than to be at the console fighting big waves and watching your $2-3K unit bounce up and over the bow...LOL

I use the Ram swing arm mounts. Solid

I personally like the over the tm pedal mounts. I use the bbt mount and love it.

I mounted my Helix 7 on a balzout mount. It's very solid. It is easily adjusted if need be. Worth every penny. Bought thru TW so get the military discount. Plus they'll be having sales coming up too.
