Blade painting
I just made 30 Bladed swim jigs. I tested one and it swims fine with lots of vibration with my trailers I use.
I want to make the blade colors match as close as I can. Can you spray paint the blades and the paint will
stay on when the blade is prepped properly?
OR, should I just get the colors I want from Spike It @ $7.25 + shipping? Anyone use blade dip or something
other than spray paint to color their blades??

I have painted, dyed, powder coated etc... Not happy with any of these options. Powder coat and paint with clear adds too much thickness and robs action... The blade dye comes off easily and needs to be re dipped and dipped etc..,. Using a plating process is the way to go...

Thanks Mike... I will probably end up using a sharpie as I had been doing.

X2 on the loss of action. I powder coated several blades and the ones I used I noticed they wouldn't always want to "chatter" I don't know if I had too much paint accumulate on one side or what but I won't be powder painting blades anymore.
LET'S GO BLUES!!! WILL WE MAKE THE PLAYOFFS IN 2024?

Lurecraft shaker blades have a look at them.
That blade dip lasts about 30 seconds I tried. Powder paint adds a lot of weight so it is out for me.
