I have the chance to buy a great boat with this outboard on it. The real hick up up is that it has 800 hours on it. How much life does this motor have on it. the compression is all at 100%. ? Any feedback from guys that really know would be greatly appreciated.
Might get more help by posting in the 3L forum (covers your engine), suggest obtaining engine serial number if at all possible, the pros here can run it for maintenance history - Mercury - 3 Liter & 3 Liter High Performance
