Prop for HPDI 175

I have a 2014 TZX 195 with a HPDI 175 it came with a 23 pitch prop, I guess it is from the factory. My question is I had a 1996 ZX200 with a 200 mercury that came with a Lazer II 23 pitch. When I sold the boat I kept that prop and sold it with a 4 blade, I was wondering if this Lazer will work on my TZX Thanks. Mark

The laser2 is best suited for 75-115 hp motors and 16-17 ft boats. Not enough blade area for larger motors and boats to transfer hp and provide good lift.

I had that motor on a Triton TR 196 and turned a 25 Vmax prop just fine. I would think a 23 would be too small.

The TZX195's are really a TZX200, but only rated for a 175. A 25 pitch prop is too much for it on this hull. I'd try a 23 Tempest.
