    Sticky/Tacky Spinning Reels

    Okay this might be a dumb question, but I always like the old trusty Mitchell 300's. I have bought 2-3 of them the last few years and all of them get tacky after a little while. So I guess my question is, anyone got an idea on how to clean them up?

    What do you mean "tacky" ? Do you mean that the reel housing gets sticky to the touch?

    Yes sir. It could be the lovely heat here in southeast Texas!!!
