    500 pound great white shark in the sound..

    Saw on NEWS14 that a great white male pinged inside the Albermarle sound earlier this week. They said it was the first time one has been there. I looked on the shark tracker and it was tagged in Oct 2018 in Nova Scotia. Must be looking something to eat i reckon.

    Looks like it was relatively close to the Alligator River. Imagine rolling through there and seeing that thing jump out of the water while you're bass fishing.

    i was picturing fighting a 5lb bass back to the boat and during one of his jumps/head shakes, "JAWS" comes up underneath and engulfs the bass and now ur hooked to JAWS with your Braided $500 combo, with the drag sinched down and no time to reach your scissors or knife...

    not that i've thought of it much

    I'd put my Ultrex on 10 and follow his butt around to try and get my $10 Live Target Frog back!

    More fake news by the uneducated media! The news has reported this type of thing before and it’s not true. Those tagged sharks give off pings when they surface and sometimes the ping is weak and gives false location info. What Ocearch does is really cool and if ya wanna know the truth then follow there website. It does a better job of showing actual locations.

    Their website was the ones reporting it. They said it surfaced at 8:07 pm on 11/13/2019 just outside the mouth of the Alligator. So they must not know what they are doing??

    Thanks for the post. Looks like they called it differently after they analyzed the data. Thank God our military has better equipment than they do.
