    Application & performance of a Bravo 1 FS vs a Fury 3 ????

Looking for info on what a Bravo 1 FS would potentially do in place of the Fury 3 prop on a 2020 BassCat Eyra with Merc V8 250 ProXS w/TM lower unit.

All my test info below was run on Lake Tuscaloosa (no current)
2 way runs of 1.5miles each way
All test done back to back (30 min total)
    Fully tournament loaded boat
    30 gal fuel
All tackle, gear, tool bag, spare prop, drinks in cooler etc...
Dual front graphs installed up front with Garmin livescope box in nose
    112 Ultrex
    4 wet/AGM batteries

    Test 1: 2 people (160lbs & 215lbs) New just out of box Fury3 24p. 78.5mph @6200rpm
    Test 2: 1 person (I got out-so just 160lbs driver) Same prop. 80.0mph @6200rpm
    Test 3: 1 person (160lbs driver) RG mod Fury3 26p 80.5mph @5900rpm (modded for previous boat w/2-stroke)
    Test 4: 1 person (160lbs driver) New just out of box Fury3 25p. 80.6mph @5980 rpm

If top speed is the goal with this fully loaded set-up....what prop would be worth testing next? What would you expect a Bravo 1 FS to do relative to speed/lift/performance?

    Thank you in advance !

    25P TXP 3 blade

Bravo1 will be slower on top end.

If you do try a Bravo it needs to be the XS, despite some claims these motors do benefit with added venting. And if it is venting too much you can always plug the holes.

Based on my experience with a Cougar/250 2S, a 28 Bravo 1 XS was faster than my stock 26 Fury. On my current Lynx/300 4S, the 26 Bravo is 2 mph slower than a stock 25 Fury but the handling, ride and hole shot are much improved.

I'd stick with the 25 Fury.

I played with a ton of props on a Pantera II years ago. I normally ran a 25 or 26 Fury3. I did try the Bravo XS too. You will lose several mph on the top end but the hole shot will be improved and the mid range acceleration will put you back in your seat. It will carry a load much better too. If you are loaded down and in the heat of the summer the Bravo is a great prop.
