    Repowering my 190. Want to upgrade the 98 omc 200 hp

    Really thinking about getting a newer omc
    200 hp on my boat. Just so tired of my super cold blooded venom. All I know is that it's easier to
    Stay with a omc swap. Need
    Education on what k should look for. Want
    To stay under 8k if possible. Thank you so much

    Maybe your old motor needs some good tuning, those pre Ficht motors were pretty good and could take a beating.

    A G1 Etec will bolt right on. Look for one 2008 and newer.
