    Florida Late Dec/ Boat Rental

Planning to drive to Florida late December leaving just before New Years. Unfortunately it won’t be in the cards to tow the boat all the way from Ontario.

Is there a region that gets better earlier than others.... I’m know Im a little early on timing.

Also boat rentals, any suggestions? I’d be happy with a small aluminum as long as it had a bow mount TM.

    Thanks

Your timing will be perfect for the spawn, I am here now and we just need a cooling spell. Roland's has bass boats but if its your first time here your best to get a guide.
    Fishing is pre spawn now.

Thanks for the info. I’ll look into the link on the bass trackers. Is that on Okeechobee? I’m considering Harris Chain or Toho if I rent a boat, they seem potentially easier to dial in without hiring a guide. Not that I’m opposed to hiring a guide but imagine it might be hard to find one around the holidays.

Unless I’m reading the webpage wrong it seems the park only rents boats from 7am-11am Monday to Thursday

Guides will be working, its prime time. If you have not fished down here in the past I recommend a guide, it all looks good its overwhelming.

If you decide to stay around the Harris Chain there will be plenty of lakes to fish! And Bandwagon is right, it all looks good. If you can’t get a boat rental or have a day or 2 without one post in here, you never know who might take you out for the day!
