    Lake Ida

    Anyone ever fish lake Ida. Headed down there with the old lady next weekend. Would like catch some peacocks. Thanks

    Probably better off on the week day. Lots of jet skiers with no regard. Lots of peacocks in the
    canals with less jet skiers. Use fast moving baits like rattle traps and shad raps/ topwater ploppers and chugbugs. ..bright colors. Also shiners are also a deadly option. Shiners might also get you a clown fish. Good luck!

    Thank you for the advice. we are limited to the weekend as were Workin folks ourselves. Figured I'd stick to the canals
    Can you catch clowns on artificial?

    clowns will crush a rattletrap that’s yo yo’d off the bottom. Catch the peacocks in the canals and the clowns in the main lake/ponds.
