3/16 ounce ball head jig rigged on a 7’ medium power spinning rod with #10 braid to #8 fluorocarbon leader

Mann's Sting Ray grubs? If so, 1/8-1/4 ounce jighead with the tail rigged flat. This causes them to swing from side to side when falling to the bottom. I try to swim them just above bottom allowing them to fall back to bottom now and then. Any 6-7 foot medium action spinning rod with 6-10 pound line will work just fine.

That rod will be perfect for that technique. I had a couple of those rods and sold them a few years back.
