I have placed my order for the new Mega 360 and have been told by a few people that run the existing 360, that I definitely need a stabilizer for it. With that said, I have also heard good things about the Boat Logix stabilizer, but I need to find out if the Mega shaft diameter is the same as the current 360. Boat Logix folks have not put their hands on Mega yet. Any ideas bout how to find this out prior to its release?
The mega 360 is only .5 lbs heavier. Unless your in very rough water or on very rough roads not sure a stabilizer. I just wrap a strip of Velcro around the 360 shaft and trolling motor shaft. Helps keep mine from bouncing real bad. A friend also made this stabilizer for me. Easy and simple but I’ve never used it. FCC620DA-E414-493E-9250-C39FFC19520C.jpeg

Ugh -- I hated mine bouncing all around. Fabbed a cheap brace just kinda like Woppercatcher's picture. @70-75mph, I swear it was gonna fly off! Not sure if that's the cause for my 360's motor to stop functioning properly or not.
