    Steadycast calibration question

I got a steadycast for my kayak and make a small NMEA 2000 network. I followed LWINCHESTER's calibration procedure and that went great. My question is if when I upgrade from my 73SV to a 106SV will I need to redo the calibration. Is the calibration data stored in the sensor or on the FF?

One thing that I was careful to do was do the rotations in the clockwise direction (as shown in the manual). Not sure if that is important or not but I figured it can't hurt. I put the sensor to good use on Saturday. There was a light wind blowing and normally that can make it tough to keep the kayak properly positioned and oriented when fishing deeper water. With the sensor I was able to keep my casts on the rock and brush piles. Picked up 2 smallies in an hour and a half which is not bad for November out here in Oregon.

Calibration is stored on the sensor.

Thanks! I was hoping that was the case.
