    Help with adapting old thru Hull transducer???

    I知 in the process of cleaning up old boat wiring. I知 trying to adapt my old through hull transducer to my new Lowrence HDS. As of now the transducer is just sitting in the lower end of the boat like you would hook it onto the trolling motor I知 trying to get rid of that harness completely. Is there an adapter so I can use my existing through hole transducer with my Lowrance and get rid of the dangling wiring. Here are the two wiring connections. Black is what I want to use, Blue is the current. Is their an adapter to make this compatible???

    Yes there is, but that is not something I would recommend.

    That transducer is old, what you are trying to do is to fit the worn out tires on rusty rims from your 15 years old car on your brand new Ferrari. Not a good idea. :) Replace the transducer instead.
