    Live well pump out

I have a Ranger 198P and am having trouble with pumping out my live well. The live well works great in all modes except when I try to pump it out. It will nor pump out and when I try to empty it it drains very slow. I am thinking that it is just a clogged line. How would I go about clearing the line, blowing compressed air thru it or using some kind of wire to fish thru it?

Yes using a air line should clear the blockage.
you should remove the pump from the housing too

Thanks for the info. Is the pump and housing hard to access?

Mine was under the middle battery. Not much room down there between the knee braces.

    Edit...I have a 188

Same here PA, sorry I can't offer you a pic... My 198 is in storage, with hardwater hopefully before the New Year...

Thanks guys, I think with the cold rain and 35 degree temperature drop I am going to wait until it is a little warmer before I try and blow out the line.
