    360 waypoint?

I’m new to using a 360 and have a question. When marking waypoints on my 360, why are the waypoints not showing up on my mapping? The waypoint says it has been created but don’t see them anywhere. I have the 360, a Helix 12, 2 Helix 9’s and a Ultrex I-Pilot Link all linked together.

The heading sensor/gps that comes with the 360 must be connected. And "Navigation on360" must be turned on. That's in the Acessories tab under "360 Imaging". This is described on page 38 of the 360 manual which can be found in Humminbird's product manual section under accessories.

I'm having the same issue. Are you able to save waypoints in other views? For me everything is sett up correctly and I can set waypoints everywhere but in 360.

Check the Network menu for the GPS source. It should be Ext for the unit that the antenna is connected to.

If you have iPilot LINK, the GPS source can be that:

    Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA+ SI G3N/G4N, Helix 15 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G4N
    SOLIX 12 SI/G3, Helix 8 CHIRP MEGA SI+ G4N, Ultrex 80/LINK, MEGA360,

Wayne, are saying that the 360 can get heading sensor information if you use iPilot Link gps? Thank you for all your explanations.

Yep, you can see it as the selected source in the second screen shot.
Last week I marked and returned to a waypoint the next day using that as the source:

Thanks. Does the TM have to be in the water for this to work, or is it sufficient to have it turned on? Is this true for the Onix as well as the Helix?

Yes, the trolling motor has to be deployed for iPilot to work.

Makes no difference which unit LINK is connected to.
